Joyce obtained her Dizi diploma Performance with Distinction from National University of Singapore in 2007 and Distinction in Dizi grade 9 performance from NAFA (Nangyang Academy in Fine Arts) in 2005. Joyce studied under Mr Lim Sin Yeo (SCO), Mr Choo Boon Chong, Mr Qu Xiang, Mr Li Zhen, Mr See Seow Pang, Mr Tony Ang.
In 2008, she achieved distinction from National Chinese Music Competition (NCMC) organized by National Arts Council (NAC), for achieving first place in Dizi open category . Joyce also achieved distinction in various other well known competitions . She also actively performs in countries including Beijing, Taiwan and Jakarta.
Joyce started teaching Dizi from 2007 and has taught in more than 15 schools including Nanyang Polytechnic, Maha Bodhi School, Anglican High school.
Audrey obtained her Diploma in Flute Performance (DipABRSM) in 2006 and has over 10 years of performance experience in band, orchestral and chamber music. She was President of the NUS Symphony Orchestra 2002/2003 and was principal flautist of the orchestra from 2003 to 2005. She currently performs in the M’Ode Orchestra which she established in 2010 together with her friends who share the same passion in music and performance.
Audrey enjoys performing on her flute and had participated in the annual chamber music concert series organized by the Centre For The Arts, NUS, from 2006 to 2008, performing in flute duets. She performed as principal flautist for the musical production “Sound of Music” in 2005 and also participated in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival 2005 with the NUS Symphony Orchestra in the same year. Jonathan achieved Dizi Diploma with Distinction in the examinations organized by National University of Singapore, Centre For The Arts. In 2005, he attained Dizi Grade 8 with Distinction in the grading examinations jointly organized bu China Central Conservatory of Music and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He was also invited to perform at the High Scorers’ Concert. His mentors and teachers include SCO (Singapore Chinese Orchestra) musician Mr Boo Chin Kiah and Mr Lim Sin Yeo, and eminent Dizi maestros Qu Xiang, Li Zhen, Choo Boon.

Paul obtained his Diploma in Music from NAFA (Nangyang Academy Of Fine Arts) in 2013, he also has a Diploma in Flute Performance (Dip ABRSM) achieved in 2009, as well as Grade 8 Music Theory ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal School Of Music). His mentor and teachers include Mr Evgueni Brokmiller (Associate Principal Flute, Singapore Symphony Orchestra) and Mr Lee Kee Hoi (Section Flute Player, SSO).
With 11 years of performance experience, Paul has performed with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) band, NAFA Orchestra, Singapore Philharmonic Orchestra etc. His achievements include winning the 1st prize in the Flute Chamber Music Competition of the 2nd Flute Festival Singapore (2001). Paul is also the Deputy Flute for Phantom of the Opera Singapore (2013).

Shaun achieved Merit in APRSM grade 8 (flute performance) and is currently pursuing Diploma in Flute Performance with NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts). He also has grade 8 ABRSM Theory.

Andy achieved Diploma (LTCL Recital, Flute) with the Trinity Guildhall Level 6 Licentiate Diploma in Music Performance. He also has Grade 7 Theory with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Andy was one of the highest scores in the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) in 2007, and was one of the performers in the ABRSM High Scorers Concert.

Sharon obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (Performance) from NAFA (Nangyang Academy Of Fine Arts) in 2009. This degree is validated by University of Wales. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, specializing in flute performance, music for early childhood, and band instructing in various local institutions. Sharon has over 10 years of performance experience including solo, chamber, band, orchestra, choral) and is a qualified practitioner of Music for the Intelligent Mind™ (MIM®), a holistic music programme for preschoolers.
Under her tutelage, 100% of Sharon’s flute students passed the ABRSM examinations (for both flute and theory). Some of Sharon’s flute students have successfully applied, and were accepted at music colleges including SOTA (School Of The Arts) and Berkeley School Of Music (USA).
Shirley graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with Masters of Arts (Merit) in 2015. She also achieved Bachelor of Music (1st class Hons) from Royal Welsh College of Music and Design in 2014. She is also a multi-instrumentalist with an ABRSM grade 8 in piano.
Among her accomplishments include winning the Kenneth Smith Flute Prize in 2011, attending the Oxford flute summer school in 2011 and the William Bennett International Flute Summer school in 2013.
Her teaching experience started from 2010, privately coaching flute and piano students in the UK and Singapore. Between 2006 to 2009, She also tutored the flute section for the following secondary school bands: Nan Chiau High school, Seng Kang Secondary School, Pasir Ris Secondary School.
Benjamin achieved distinction in ABRSM grade 8 flute, in 2013. He also is proficient in the Saxophone, achieving distinction in ABRSM grade 5 (2007). He has 5 years of teaching experience.
Benjamin also had the opportunity to perform in Taipei, Taiwan (2016 with Nanyang Polytechnic), Tokyo, Japan (2010 with Victoria Junior College), Kerkrade, Netherlands (2009 with Nanyang Polytechnic).
Claire graduated from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in 2017 with B.Mus (Bachelor of Music, flute performance). She started learning the flute at age 10 and entered the China Central Conservatory at age 12.
She studied under Professor Jin Ta (Principal flutist of Singapore Symphony Orchestra and she has worked with some of the world’s renowned artists including Gabor Tackacs, Andras Schiff, Lan Shui. She was also invited to attend the Gonjiam International Flute Festival in South Korea. In 2016, Claire also won 1st prize in the Singapore woodwind Chamber Music Competition.
