My daughter wanted very much to learn cello as her second music instrument, but without any knowledge of cello, we searched online to find out where to buy cello. My daughter being concerned not to overspend her parent’s money, had wanted ... to buy a second hand cello online. However I managed to persuade her not to do so. As someone who has just started beginner violin lessons, try to come into contact with the violin and bow daily for at least 15 minutes. Get acquainted with the instrument daily and as you learn more and more techniques, you can extend your daily practice to 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and one hour.

My violin bow needed rehairing and a bit of repair. Rita was very helpful, polite and professional. She explained to me what needed to be done and the approximate cost. While selecting my violin, I also had detailed coaching from Mr Yeo, a very experienced violin coach. He pointed out my bow hold issues and gave me pointers on shifting and executing vibrato. My tone and intonation improved a lot after I learnt these important tips from Mr Yeo. He is an inspiring teacher. Just one class from him improved my playing. With that, I was able to attain distinction in ABRSM Violin grade 5. When I return to Singapore this year, I will take more masterclasses with Mr Yeo. Thank you Stradivari Strings! I bought my first ever Cello at Stradivari strings, a cello and violin shop in Singapore. I have been looking everywhere for a good beginner level cello at an affordable price and Stradivari Strings is the only store that had an attractive offer. I went on to enquire about the cello by calling them and Ms Rita Yeo answered very promptly and kindly. I went to their store and the cello I bought sounded really good, came with a padded bag and a nice cello bow. Ms Rita advised on everything about the handling and care of the cello.
