Keyboard Lessons

The keyboard is a versatile instrument, and many students enjoy starting keyboard lessons for beginners on it. With this music instrument, students can learn to play on the keyboard, pop songs, classical music, and so forth.

Stradivari Strings’ keyboard lessons in Singapore are designed for a wide age group. We have beginner keyboard lessons, intermediate keyboard lessons and advance keyboard lessons.

Beginner Keyboard Lessons

Our keyboard lessons take students through basic techniques, intermediate playing styles and advanced improvisation course. Keyboard lessons for beginners teaches students basic fingering techniques, rudimentary music theory and basic chord formations. The intermediate keyboard lessons in Singapore cover more fingering techniques, chord improvisation, chord progression. Students will be taught how to form new melody for songs. Our keyboard teachers in Singapore will focus on the dynamics, transposition, modulation and ear training in advance keyboard lessons.

Keyboard teachers in Singapore

The keyboard has some similarities with the piano, however there is enough difference to warrant looking for a specialist keyboard teacher. During your beginner keyboard lessons, you will realize that the keyboard is more versatile in the sounds it can emulate, whereas the piano is better for learning underlying music theory. Your keyboard teacher will also show you that the keyboard is easier to learn to play because everything is already preconfigured as long as you can figure out the settings you want.

Our keyboard teachers will guide you through your musical journey in learning to play the keyboard, whether you have no music background thus need keyboard lessons for beginners, or a more advanced level player thus starting with advance keyboard lessons.

Lessons are conducted one student to one keyboard teacher, to accelerate your learning progress. Group keyboard lessons for beginners can be formed if you sign up with family or acquaintances.

Keyboard lessons in Singapore can be conducted at our music studio at Sultan Plaza, your place or keyboard teacher’s place.

  • I taught myself to play basic piano many years back but stopped as I found that I would not improve without a piano teacher. Stradivari Strings found a great coach for me — teacher Matthew. As an adult learner, my pace of learning is not as fast as a young child. However Matthew is always patient and explains the playing techniques patiently. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to start piano lessons.
  • My son is at ABRSM grade 5 level and I was looking for a senior level coach to take him up to advance level. Stradivari Strings placed him under the guidance of piano teacher Matthew. Right from the first lessons, my son got on well with him and I am happy that we have engaged him to be our permanent piano coach.
